Providence and decarbonisation
We have been developing and implementing blockchain technology across our company during our entire evolution. You may have heard of crypto currency which uses blockchain for its operations.
Our blockchain - TraceTexx® is run from our operational process.
We digitise the data from our collection, sorting, separation and remanufacturing processes to provide the information to our blockchain which validates that data.
For our feedstock customers, we can provide validated data for their ESG reporting and their traceability processes.
Our feedstock suppliers are varied and highly sensitive to any potential repetitional damage that could come from the landfilling of their textiles.
They come from international brands, banks, government departments and even the Australian defense force which all require a secure and validated recycling service
6 years ago when we started BlockTexx we knew that traceability and trust would be key to the future resource recovery industry.
Trust is so important for us.
Because our feedstock suppliers need to trust that we will recycle their garments.
And our off-take customers need to trust that the products we sell them are 100% recycled.
We also knew back then… that technology would be key to providing that trust, that proof and that traceability…
Which is why we called our company BlockTexx® - a combination of blockchain and textiles.
To support and recognise our BlockTexx® supplier network (BSN), BlockTexx issues a trust badge logo to our supplier network.
This logo is a 3rd party verified certification similar to the European Union’s digital passport.
It showcases each company’s industry leading commitment to sustainability and that their products are recyclable through the BlockTexx separation process.
